KENUKAN BUDOKAI HONBU DOJO

Kenukan Academy is the Headquarters (Honbu Dojo) for the Kenukan Budokai. It serves as the main dojo that the President of the Organization (Kaicho) conducts operations.

The Kenukan Budokai is a multi-disciplinary International Organization designed to preserve the history, values, techniques, & fighting spirit of the Kenukan Martial Arts System (Kenukan Ryu).
BUSHIDOKAN™ YUDANSHAKAI

On July 19, 2017, Jim Harrison founded the Bushidokan Yudanshakai in order to preserve and develop the legacy, standards, traditions, and reputation of the Bushidokan™ Martial Arts Style / Brand (Bushidokan Ryu). Jim Harrison personally selected the members of the Board of Directors and bestowed certain perpetual powers to the organization. These include the authority to issue the Bushidokan Black Belt Rank Certificates, authority to maintain the Bushidokan Black Belt Register, and the authority to license / regulate the use of the Bushidokan Logo / Trademark / Brand. Kenukan Academy Chief Instructor, Travis Boggs, serves as Chairman of the Board & President of the Bushidokan Yudanshakai. Subsequently, Kenukan Academy serves as the Midwest Office for the organization.

Kenukan Ryu is a comprehensive martial arts style (Sogo Bu-Jutsu) developed by Shodai Soke Robert Boggs. Kenukan Ryu is a blend of Judo, Japanese / Brazilian Ju-Jutsu, Okinawan / Japanese Karate, Okinawan Kobudo, Aikido, Boxing, & Thai / American / Japanese Kickboxing.

Bushidokan Ryu is a comprehensive martial arts style (Sogo Bu-Jutsu) developed by Shodai Soke Jim Harrison. Bushidokan Ryu has three branches of training: Bushidokan Judo-Jujitsu, Bushidokan Karate-Kickboxing, and Bushidokan Ronin Goshin Jutsu (Self-Defense).
KENUKAN RESEARCH SOCIETY

The Kenukan Research Society (Kenukan Kenkyukai) serves as the research branch of the Kenukan Budokai. Its primary function is to conduct historical, technical, and philosophical research for the ongoing development of Kenukan Ryu.
KENUKAN LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
The Kenukan Leadership Committee is a special group within the Kenukan Budokai. It is made up of senior students (Senpai) who display in their daily lives the fighting spirit and values of Kenukan Ryu. The Leadership Committee serves many functions, including, but not limited to, the oversight of seminars, tournaments, & special training sessions.
JU-JUTSU HISTORICAL RESEARCH SOCIETY
The Ju-Jutsu Historical Research Society 柔術史学研究会 is sponsored by the Kenukan Budokai for the purpose of exploring the early technical development and worldwide spread of Ju-Jutsu – particularly during the Meiji Era 明治時代 of Japan (October 23, 1868 through July 30, 1912). JU-JITSU INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION
The Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) is the only Ju-Jitsu organization recognized by the General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) and the International World Games Association (IWGA). The JJIF participates in the World Games, which are organized and governed by the IWGA under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Including the United States of America, the JJIF has 106 member countries spanning 4 continents.
USA NATIONAL KARATE-DO FEDERATION
USA National Karate-Do Federation (USA-NKF) is the National Governing Body (NGB) for Karate under the auspices of The United States Olympic Committee (USOC). This is a national sport Karate organization which conducts national competitions, fields teams to international competitions, rank homologation, and Yudansha rank level promotions.
WORLD KARATE FEDERATION
The World Karate Federation (WKF) is the largest international governing body of sport karate with over 130 member countries. It was formed in 1990 and is the only karate organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and has more than ten million members. The WKF organizes the Junior and Senior Karate World Championships, which are each held every other year.
